With the Fulton Block Builders (FBB) 2024 fundraising campaign underway, the employees at Davis-Standard banded together and held a bake sale, raising $140 in support of the FBB program.
The suggestion to support FBB came from Davis-Standard employee Mark Green who participated in the 2023 FBB program. “This program has been great. I’ve seen the good it does not only to improve the look of neighborhoods, but in building the community, and wanted to do something to help keep it going” said Green. The funding raised by Davis-Standard employees will be matched 2:1 by a grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, making the total donation worth $420.
“The support of local businesses is vital to reaching our $50,000 fundraising goal to realize the entire Richard S. Shineman match” said Tina Eusepi, Block Builders program coordinator. We’re so grateful for the support provided by the employees at Davis-Standard.
